How To Find a Profitable Niche Market

You’ve probably heard the saying, “Do what you love and the money will follow.” Well I say, “Follow the money and then you’ll have the time and freedom to do what you love.”

You don’t want to waste your time promoting products that won’t make you any money. So you need to select a market that you know will be profitable.

Many new marketers think you need to find untapped niche markets to be successful. But markets with high demand and no competition are very rare. You might be able to make a little money in a niche market where there is little competition. But you can’t build a business in a market with low demand.

You want a competitive market where a lot of money is already being spent. There will always be room in a market of cash-in-hand buyers. All you need is a small slice of the pie. ;o)

What Makes a Market Profitable?

Any market that helps people make money, save money or improve their life in some way will be profitable.

Some profitable markets are obvious:

  • Weight loss
  • Home business
  • Forex trading

There are literally thousands of markets that could be profitable. But since we are promoting affiliate products, I suggest you choose a market that already has popular affiliate programs available.

The best place to start your search is the ClickBank Marketplace. There are over 11,000 information products to promote in dozens of markets and most pay 50-75% commission per sale.

Again, you don’t have to be passionate about the market but it should something you at least have an interest in learning about because you’ll need to know what what you’re selling before you can recommend it to others.

Forget about brainstorming ideas…Just go straight to the ClickBank marketplace and select one of the top-selling products in a category that interests you.

But keep in mind the criteria for a profitability:

  • Making money
  • Saving money
  • Self improvement

That gives you a lot to choose from if you really think about it…now go find your niche!

My niche is “Internet Marketing” and I actually enjoy teaching people how to make money online. I feel proud when I get an email from someone who is finally making money - even if it’s their first sale.

But hey, that may not be your cup of tea…and there are many markets that you can get into and make money doing what you enjoy. So I created this video to show you an easy way to find profitable products in any market that you actually WANT to sell.

See, you don’t have to be passionate about a product to sell it. And you don’t have to be an expert either. As long as you have an interest in the topic and a desire to learn, you can sell any product you want. That is, if it’s profitable. ;o)

You want to promote products in a market where…

  1. There is already money being made
  2. There is money being spent on advertising
  3. There are back-end products to sell
